Absolutely Heartless and Inhuman – S. Sreesanth’s Wife Slams Lalit Modi and Michael Clarke Former cricketer S. Sreesanth’s wife, Bhuvneshwari, has lashed out at Lalit Modi and Michael Clarke for resurfacing the infamous 2008 incident involving Harbhajan Singh and Sreesanth during the inaugural IPL season, which they recently shared on social media. She said: “Shame on you, Lalit Modi and Michael Clarke. You people are not even human—dragging up something from 2008 just for your cheap publicity and views. Both Bhajji and I have long moved on. We are fathers now, raising school-going children, and yet you try to reopen old wounds. Absolutely disgusting, heartless, and inhuman.”

Gavaskar slams foreign cricketers for adding fuel to the fire

Image
Gavaskar slams foreign cricketers for adding fuel to the fire!  What’s truly baffling is how some foreign cricketers—who have absolutely no stake in Indian cricket and very little knowledge of its inner workings—choose to wade into debates and add fuel to the fire. However great they may have been as players, and however many times they may have toured India, the selection of the Indian team is strictly none of their business. They should concentrate on their own country’s cricket and leave Indian cricket matters to us Indians.

The Silent Warrior of No.3 – Cheteshwar Pujara Retires from International Cricket,End of an Era:

The Silent Warrior of No.3 – Cheteshwar Pujara Retires from International Cricket From a 13-year-long career span, Cheteshwar Pujara played with patience, calmness, composure, clinical precision, and an old-school classical batting style. Absorbing the pressure with his unyielding approach towards the game, he has now decided to pack his bags from International Cricket. One of the greatest No.3 batsmen for India, the man carried billions of hopes as a saviour and carried forward the legacy of Rahul Dravid’s “The Wall” in Test cricket. He served as a red-ball specialist batter in his whole career with his bottom-hand technique and nonchalant toughness. Pujara added 7,195 runs in 103 Test matches with an average of 43.60, where he hammered 19 relentless tons and 35 noteworthy half-centuries. Meanwhile, he faced 16,217 balls in his career which clearly shows his temperament and approach in the Test format. With his customary shots and typical dogged batting style, ...

What do they want to achieve by playing against Pakistan? For me, there is absolutely no question of watching this match.”   – Manoj Tiwary (former Indian cricketer)

Who has been the best fielder of India of all time?

Image
Who has been the best fielder of India of all time? Jonty Rhodes Says:  For me, it has to be Suresh Raina. He’s simply incredible. Even if I could watch myself as a younger player, Raina reminds me of that same energy  This guy just does unbelievable stuff on the field—he dives full length, he plucks catches out of nowhere, he saves boundaries that looked certain. And the best part is, even if he misses one, he just shakes it off and goes again. That’s Raina for you. For me, he is the best Indian fielder of all time.

The day New Zealand’s former captain Brendon McCullum retired from Test cricket

Image
The day New Zealand’s former captain Brendon McCullum retired from Test cricket — his last match against the visiting Australians in Christchurch, the 2nd Test of the series — felt like a movie script. The way McCullum hammered the Aussie bowling lineup was nothing short of cinematic: fearless, steel-hearted strokes from the man who went on to pioneer “Bazball” in Test cricket. Australia won the toss and invited New Zealand to bat first. The hosts’ top four were back in the pavilion with just 74 on the board. Then walked in Brendon McCullum, for the second-last time in whites. The Aussies had no idea they were standing on the edge of a storm. At one end, the scoreboard read 32–3. At the other, McCullum was already 28 off 12 balls. In that situation, any other batter would’ve thought about survival, building a partnership, respecting the conditions. But not McCullum. For him, there was only one way — attack. With the courage of a leader and the fire of a warrior,...

📢 Why no Shreyas and Yashasvi in the India's ACC men's Asia Cup squad 2025 ? ❌

Image
📢 Why no Shreyas and Yashasvi in the ACC men's Asia Cup  squad 2025 ? ❌ ➡️  Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar addressed the omission: > “With respect to Shreyas Iyer, the question is—whom can he replace? It’s no fault of his, neither of ours. The reality is, you can only pick a 15-member squad at the moment.” On Yashasvi Jaiswal, Agarkar said: > “It’s just unfortunate again. There’s Abhishek Sharma, and what he has done over the last year or so makes him hard to ignore. Plus, he can bowl a little and give the captain that extra option if required. One of these guys had to miss out, and for now both will have to wait for their chance.”  🏏🎙️

India's 15-member squad for the Asia Cup 2025 in UAE:

Image
As India's squad was announced by the chief selectors along with skipper Suryakumar ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, the Indian think tank seems to be looking towards the future and is very clear about Shubman Gill's role as a leader in all formats. For now, the BCCI has appointed him as the deputy to skipper Suryakumar Yadav. India's 15-member squad for the Asia Cup 2025 in UAE: Suryakumar (C), Shubman Gill (VC), Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (WK), Tilak Verma, Shivam Dube, Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Jitesh Sharma (WK), Varun Chakravarthy, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Arshdeep Singh, Rinku Singh, and Harshit Rana. Standby: Washington Sundar, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ravi Bishnoi, Riyan Parag, Dhruv Jurel (WK). 🚨 No Shreyas Iyer and Yashasvi Jaiswal  in the 15-member squad.

Could Suryakumar Yadav’s Young Brigade Retain the Asian Championship for the 9th Time in the Upcoming Asia Cup 2025, UAE?

Image
Could Suryakumar Yadav’s Young Brigade Retain the Asian Championship for the 9th Time in the Upcoming Asia Cup 2025, UAE? Well, whatever the result is going to be on Sunday, 25th September, when the final gets played, one thing is clear — India currently has such a rich pool of quality players that the team could easily field two different 15-member squads in this T20 tournament. For the selectors and management, it’s a tough job — whom to pick, whom to drop, and what to tell the players left out. But in reality, this is a positive controversy for Indian cricket, a problem of plenty! Since 1984 till 2023, India has claimed the Asia Cup crown 8 times — the most by any Asian team. Once again, in 2025, India will look to defend the title in UAE against 7 other nations — Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Oman, UAE, and Hong Kong. India has participated 15 times and successfully reached 11 finals, winning 8 titles and finishing runners-up on 3 occasions. These stats ...

The Forgotten Soul of Cricket: Why Test Matches Still Matter

Image
The Forgotten Soul of Cricket: Why Test Matches Still Matter Today's fast and furious Hindi generation, where T20 thrillers and leagues rule the headlines, often forgets the true soul of cricket — Test cricket. It sometimes feels like a forgotten chapter, but there is no purer form of the game than the Test format. Here’s why every single cricket lover, no matter how young or old, must experience the greatness and determination of our heroes in a Test match at least once in their life: • The Battle of Patience vs Pressure T20s are about power-hitting and high-risk cricket, but Test cricket is about patience, respect towards opposition bowlers, adapting to match situations, and endurance. Just imagine a bowler charging in on Day 4, still mentally strong and fired up, delivering with the same intensity as on the first morning. On the other hand, a batsman stands firm for 200 balls, battling not just for himself but for the team, while f...

Hope of the West Indies Pace Attack: Jayden Seales & Shamar Joseph

Image
Hope of the West Indies Pace Attack: Jayden Seales & Shamar Joseph It might be the rise of the West Indies pace attack with the raw pace duo of Jayden Seales and Shamar Joseph. Relentless energy and sheer dominance, with match-defining spells, turn up the heat on the opposition. These speed guns have a powerhouse combination of ability and mental toughness to turn the tables for the Windies’ future. If they get proper opportunities, support, and guidance from the legends, they might become the next bowling superstars of West Indies cricket. On a bouncy and green-top wicket, this prominent duo could deliver a horror show for the batters—just like the legendary West Indian bowling line-up did in the 1980s–90s.

Sir Ravindra, the silent assassin - Jadeja!

Image
Sir Ravindra, the silent assassin - Jadeja! On 24th May, when the BCCI officials announced the Indian squad for England 2025, everyone on social media was creating a buzz and raising a question mark on veteran all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja's selection for the Test team, and also making stuff, creating memes that Rohit, Virat, and Ashwin are retired and now it's Jadeja's turn due to his ageing. 36-year-old young Sir Jadeja! Always the silent assassin with his contribution towards the nation. No PR! No drama! No controversies! No reaction to criticism! No unnecessary aggression! One and only dedication toward his game. Moreover, he never gave statements with words, he always proved his worth with bat, ball, and most importantly, his rocket arm. In the ongoing 'Tendulkar - Anderson Trophy' in England, Sir Ravindra Jadeja is invariably on the mark at every tense stage. When nothing goes right for India, everyone takes a deep breath an...
